The Nova Scotia Maintenance Enforcement Program (MEP)
The Maintenance Enforcement Program (MEP) is a free service of the Department of Justice that:
- helps you make or receive court-ordered maintenance payments when your court order is enrolled with the program
- can take steps to enforce maintenance orders when payments are not made
The MEP operates under the laws set out in the Maintenance Enforcement Act.
The Maintenance Enforcement Program's call in Infoline will no longer be available after 30 June 2026. You can access support and information about your file through the MEP online portal or by contacting the client service line at 902-862-4275 or toll-free at 1-855-322-0934.
